Offerings include:

  • Weekly discussion of Richard Rohr’s online meditations on Sundays at 9am (starts in October).  Click on icon to sign up for meditations

  • Scripta Divina–monthly writing course led by Garnette Arledge.  Two hour meetings include prayer and meditation, writing prompts, reflection and sharing. Meeting day and time to be determined.

  • Lectionary Bible Study–meets monthly on the first Saturday of the month, 8am-10am.  Led by the Rev. Alison Quin.  We will reflect on upcoming lectionary texts and listen for God’s word to us.  First Session:  Oct. 7th, 2017.   For lectionary readings, go to www.lectionarypage.net

  • Education For Ministry (EFM).  Every baptized person is called to ministry.  The EFM program provided people with the education to carry out that ministry.  Weekly seminars include discussion, guided reflection, prayer, worship in a small group setting.  The program is a wonderful way to grow spiritually.  Participants sign up for one year at a time, for this four year course of study that includes Old and New Testaments, Church History and Theology.  Cost is $325 for each academic year, but scholarships are available.  Please speak to one of the clergy.  Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.

  • Financial Peace University–nine week course on financial management and stewardship, using Dave Ramsey video followed by discussion.   For more info:   https://www.daveramsey.com/fpu

 

  • Seasonal classes on prayer and other topics during Advent and Lent, to prepare for Christmas and Easter.  We have also offered quiet days during those seasons.

  • Confirmation classes which also serve as inquirers’ classes for those who want to learn more about the Christian faith as well as the Episcopal Church.

  • Field trips to see exhibits or performances that enrich our faith life.

We are open to your ideas or suggestions for book studies, bible studies and other adult education opportunities.
