At our annual parish meeting each January, we review our ministry over the the past year and look ahead. The Annual Report will be distributed with reports from all ministry leaders on our activities in the past year. The Finance Committee will give us a presentation on the budget for the upcoming year. The Capital Campaign Committee will give us an an update on our progress with the campaign. We will elect new vestry members. And we will reflect on what it means to be the beloved community–and how we can expand our ministry of welcoming and including new members.
The day starts with the liturgy of the Baptism of Our Lord and a renewal of baptismal vows. PLEASE NOTE: there will be a JOINT SERVICE at 9AM! Then we will gather for breakfast in the parish hall. After a time for talk and fellowship, we will begin our meeting. There will be childcare available. Please plan to come and add your thoughts and ideas.
Three vestry members have completed their first term of three years, but all have expressed a willingness to run for a second term: Beth Veasey, Jim Blair and Brian Taylor. Rod Basten is stepping down as warden after six years. Tim Sweeney has agreed to run for warden. The vestry will appoint someone to fill his unexpired term. Thanks to those who have served faithfully, and to those who are willing to serve in the future.
